French Lavender has a distinctly different aroma than Bulgarian Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), and has been used for ages to help with respiratory tension/breathing, and pain relief. French Lavender (Lavendula officinalis) is more herbaceous and camphor in its aroma, whereas the Bulgarian has the sweeter, commonly thought of Lavender aroma.

Not only do I use this beautiful oil in my candles, I use it before bed sleep every night. It puts me in a coma. Which could be dangerous, in case of a fire — I might be sound asleep.
